Burberry Weekend: Quickie Review

Burberry_1 While waiting in line at Superdrug to pay for my stamps and water, I sprayed on a little Burberry Weekend. Superdrug is selling it, and other fragrances, in tiny travel sizes, for £3.99. I wish all perfumes came in such small sizes, because all too often I get bored with a fragrance after a couple of weeks (most recently, Perlier Soliflore Calla Lily - which is now listed on Perlier's clearance items page) and am stuck with a lot of perfume that I don't really want.

Anyway, Burberry Weekend smells pretty good - not too far off the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue that I've been smelling on people lately and liking. It's a pleasant mix of citrus and rich florals on a woody musk base, and definitely not overpowering. Check it out - especially in a £3.99 bottle.

About

  • What do you get when you throw a true beauty obsessive in Europe together with a veteran beauty journalist in LA? Not much room on the bathroom shelves, that's for sure. Make-up, hair products, skincare, perfume, salons, spas, luxury hotels with toiletries and treatments that make us never want to go home - if we've left anything out, you can pry our mirrors from our cold, dead, perfectly manicured hands.
