Armani Code for Women
This fragrance may be "more safe than sexy", but it's one I can't get enough of right now. I found the pour homme version of Code to be a real head-turner, and my experience so far with the female version has lived up to expectations. With notes of orange, orange blossom, ginger, pear sorbet, jasmine, vanilla, woods, and lavender honey, it sounds fruitier and more sweet than it is. The ginger and those pale, musky woods referenced by Robin really send me into olfactory overdrive - in a good way.
The bottle is a beautiful bonus, though I find the atomizer a bit too fiddly when I'm in a rush to get scented and get out of the house. If I'm in a real hurry, I pass it up in favor of something that requires less coordination. (Yes, a delay of five seconds really can make a difference some mornings!)
Full disclosure: I got this as a gift from Armani's PR people. That said, I would absolutely pay my own money for it.
