Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze
Guest tester Lisa Nolan says that, when it comes to bronzing, Vicky wins some and loses some...
As a faired-skinned woman, I will try anything to fake a decent sun-kissed
tan. But the color can't be orange or stain my favorite bath robe. Who else should know how to fake a tan well but a lingerie company with hundreds of models
in bikinis and bras?
I was given a few products from the Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze line, and have been using them for the last 14 days. The gradual self-tanning lotion has the distinct chemical after-smell that most self tanners give off. This odor has lingered for the last 14 days. Even my sheets smell! For $18 a bottle, I wasn't impressed. I was hoping for at least the fragrance of paradise. At the request of my family, I have stopped using this product completely.
I also decided to try the Victoria's Secret Bare Bronze Body Oil. If I want to throw on a dress or shorts, I need to have my legs looking in good shape fast. The body oil has a pleasant, Hawaiian vacation smell - a scent you can live with. The oil was not too greasy and added a nice sheen and tint to my legs. Perfect for covering any skin flaws with worry free application. This one will stay in my beauty closet for sure.
