Proactiv vending machine at DFW
Doug Aamoth at CrunchGear spotted this amongst many cool, shiny things at Dallas/Fort Worth airport. Says Doug:
For those times when you just can’t wait to start a rigorous long-term commitment to clean and healthy skin via an expensive skin care system, there’s the Proactiv Solution vending machine. If you were to ask me to make a list of the absolute last things I’d ever expect to see in vending machines, this might be on that list. Very weird.
I have never tried Proactiv, but have heard enough about it from trusted sources to know I'd never buy it or recommend it.
But this got me thinking of all the vending machines I would like to see and/or that I think would make big money:
- A Lancome Juicy Tubes vending machine
- A Jo Malone perfume vending machine
- A Prada handbag vending machine
- A Missoni scarf vending machine
- A Chanel nail polish vending machine
- A Diptyque travel candle vending machine
Any other suggestions?

This is a first, I have yet to see anything like this before. They should place makeup wipes and mascara for a quick fix.

These are actually quite common in malls, which is actually very convenient. You just go up to one and get what you need and leave. You don't have to wait for it to come in the mail or deal with a salesperson trying to sell you more than you need. I had about a year bout where Proactiv worked miracles on my skin. After awhile the results weren't as good. But, for people who love the product, this is an easy way to obtain it. In short, these are cool...

I'd love a DiorShow Mascara vending machine.

I think a vending machine with Bath and Body Works anti-bacterial hands gels offered in various scents would be a winner at an airport.

Wow--I've never seen any vending machine like that before! I am addicted to lip balm so I'd love it if there were vending machines dedicated to dispensing that!
