Thai Crystal Deodorant Mist

ThaideodorantI bought this 8 ounce bottle of deodorant way back in June, and I'm still using it. (Yes, I wear deodorant every day!)

I like this stuff because it doesn't irritate my delicate pits, a problem I've had with other deodorants. If you're a hippie type person, you might also be interested to know that it's aluminum free, made from weathered granite, and is chemical and fragrance free. I usually like a deodorant that smells, but don't really miss it here. Also, you can use this on any part of your body (I haven't tried it on my feet, but why not?).

You can pay up to $7 for this, which is still a decent value when you consider how long a bottle lasts, but I get mine for about half that from my friend Dan's excellent store in downtown Cincinnati, Park + Vine. Dan is a vegan eco warrior, but I love him with all my carnivorous heart anyway.

About

  • What do you get when you throw a true beauty obsessive in Europe together with a veteran beauty journalist in LA? Not much room on the bathroom shelves, that's for sure. Make-up, hair products, skincare, perfume, salons, spas, luxury hotels with toiletries and treatments that make us never want to go home - if we've left anything out, you can pry our mirrors from our cold, dead, perfectly manicured hands.
