Britney's makeover

I feel really sad about Britney Spears. My ultimate fantasy for her is that she gets the help she desperately needs, gets to make everything up to her kids, and becomes the world's most notable advocate for understanding of manic depression. I want good things for her and wish the rest of the world would, too.

That said...this is not encouraging. I will let Michael K articulate it for me:

Hairstylist, Kim Vo, spent four long hours doing Britney's rat's nest the other day and this is the final result. It went from looking like a dirty rat's nest to looking like.....a dirty snake's nest. I'm trying to look for turtle eggs in there. Horrendous.

...I don't understand how brand new extensions could look like that. It looks like he made her a weave from the hair that gets stuck in the shower drain.

I might cry if we start to talk about the ever-present stains/wet spots all over her clothes. Everyone's rock bottom looks different, and I cannot imagine what Britney's is going to look like. I have a feeling we're all going to find out, though.

Wish Britney could just go and hibernate with her family and forget about this life that she has been leading lately... Hope she is able to get the help she needs to put her family and herself back together soon...

So sad when you look back on the way she was at the turn of the millenium... she had the world at her feet. Such a talented young girl and hopefully she can turn it round, before it's too late. Unfortunately I see parallels of the downfall of Michael Jackson with her, I guess we'll never know what it's like to have so much fame so young and to live your formative years in the tabloid newspapers. Come on Britney, I still believe.
