Fragrance storage
There has to be a better alternative to this. (I do store several bottles in the fridge. If I didn't, there would be no surface large enough for all my perfume.)

How about one of those little glass cases used for displaying crystal figurine collections?

For most of my perfume storage, I use those closet organization shelves that are intended to hold stacks of folded sweaters. Keeping them out of sunlight in the closet helps preserve their lifespan, and the shelves are big enough to hold tall bottles but small enough to divide them up into some semblance of organization. (In my own excessive case, they're generally divvied up by house.) I do keep a few pretty bottles on the dresser, but I use a crystal serving platter (it's prettier looking than those usually tacky mirrors they sell for dresser tops) underneath them, since if any of the bottles drip or leak the varnish will be stripped from the wood.

Hi! I love your blog and the fact that you write with such honesty, such candor. My personal advise is to not keep fragrances stored in the fridge. The best thing you can do for them is to keep them in a cool place, out of direct light exposure. The temperature of the fridge however, is way too cool.
