Janeane went blond for a little change. The fact that people are clucking about the possibilities of her having plastic surgery just goes to show how dramatic a change in hair color can be for the rest of the face!

I think the picture of her recording for the movie is probably older than we think. Don't they do the sound for animated movies a year or so in advance?

I'd already seen this picture, and must concur that Ms. Garofalo is unreconizable to me. I'm going to venture a guess as to why that is: she's definitely has a rhinoplasty (and probably not her first), porcelain veneers, botox or possibly a browlift(a shame, as her prominent frown lines gave her face character), and for some reason it appears that the outer 1/2 of her eyebrows are falling out. As for her appearance in the picture offered by Amy: animated feature films (including digital animation)are notoriously slow and laborious to produce. Thus, that picture of Janeane laying down vocals for Ratatouille might be a year (or two) old.

I just saw Janeane in the HBO movie with David Schwimmer, "Duane Hopwood". I didn't recognize her! I am also surprised that she would change her appearance so much. I remember when she was doing stand up and she didn't give a crap about what people thought of her looks. She had this cool attitude that she was natural and wouldn't give in to what everyone else thought was "pretty". It is sad.
