Doy.

It wasn't until this past weekend that I realised the Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara I've been using isn't black. Nope, it's blue. Thanks to the horribly unflattering - yet helpful - lighting at our hotel in New York City for showing me the error of my ways. (I don't know if this is more of a slam on the blueness of the mascara, since it so easily passes for black, or on my attention to detail. Probably both, I think.)

Wait 'til you try the new Max Factor Masterpiece Max - the best mascara I have ever tried for the long, lush, false lashes look. Be sure to buy it in black though.

About

  • What do you get when you throw a true beauty obsessive in Europe together with a veteran beauty journalist in LA? Not much room on the bathroom shelves, that's for sure. Make-up, hair products, skincare, perfume, salons, spas, luxury hotels with toiletries and treatments that make us never want to go home - if we've left anything out, you can pry our mirrors from our cold, dead, perfectly manicured hands.
