Smells like Marilyn Manson

I am absolutely thrilled to hear that Marilyn Manson is launching his own fragrance and cosmetics line.  Rumor has it (thanks PSFK) that the fragrance is inspired by the collaboration of Salvador Dali and Elsa Schiaparelli.  If you look at Elsa's profile, you can see that she actually bears a striking resemblance to Marilyn, particularly their soft jawline and open-lipped pout. 

In general, I think the idea of celebrity fragrance is philosophically unsound.  Liz Taylor pulled it off, but I can't think of anyone since who has produced anything other than olfactory Kool Aid. Celebrities, I firmly believe, are to be seen and not smelled.

But I'm holding out hope that Manson's fragrance will smell of rats and snails and puppy dog tails.  If it is wimpy and sucky, then, well, let's just give up.

i'm really looking forward to mansons fragrance and his cosmetics.he's my idol,and i know they'll be worth the wait.i already know i'll like his cosmetics.i'll like his fragrance as well,but it'll be different.he has alot of talent and brains.you go manson!!!you're the man!!!
