Actually, I think my ass looks better than usual in these. When I heard that the Gap had come out with a new line of "curvy" cut jeans, I actually made a trip to the mall to check them out. Even before I turned 40 and got fat I was curvy, and had a hard time finding good jeans. The Gap makes curvy jeans in a size 0, which sounds oxymoronic, but isn't (my ass has been in the double digits since high school, however). I would not be ashamed to wear these jeans out in public. I didn't buy them, though, because I'm pathological when it comes to paying full price for anything clothing-related. I will wait for them to go on sale, by which time I may yet be a size smaller, who knows? I say with a handful of leftover halloween candy by my keyboard....Aw, what the hell, Nike and Gloria Steinem have declared the world safe for big butts. I think we could use a few more of them to balance out the giant breasts that seem to be everywhere. The key to it all is having a waist somewhere in the middle.....

eBay, baby! I get a lot of stuff there half-price or better. Been buying up vintage, multistrand chokers there. And your ass is not a problem, providing you wear it like a black woman!

Awww, go on, buy them, they're nice. I especially like that the pockets are quite high, as that always makes a bum look more pert.
I'm very fond of Gap Long and Lean jeans too (well, I was when I was a UK size 14 as they took a good few pounds off me!) but I'm very very smug at the moment that I can fit into a five-year-old pair of Diesel jeans from when I was a UK size 10. Oh yes. It was a long time coming, but I can fit back into some of my favourite clothes now! (I miss beer and pizza though!)

How many styles of denim jeans can one brand have in circulation at one time? Diesel Jeans surely takes to the rostrum and collects the gold medal for this one! In my estimation Diesel jeans has 44 different styles on offer!
Let’s list them: Arker F.P. Jeans, Bebel Jeans, Bebel B.C., Bethow, Braddo, Cayre, Cheebon, Chela, Cheren, Cherone, Eyefly, Farco, Hipper, Hush D.S., Junnie, Kajo, Keate, Koffha, Kurrat, Kycut, Lemmen, Levin, Liv, Lowky, Lowky B.C., Lugger, Moonie, Moorix, Murran, Onijo, Paddom, Pike, Preeto, Reckfly, Reckfly Special, Riden, Ronhar, Shazor, Wonnha, Woodley, Woodley Classic, Yarik, Zathan Jeans and finally Zavor jeans. Phew!! What a list of styles! Impressive? Perhaps it could be construed as an impressive endeavour on the part of Diesel to offer their customers a wide and varied selection of differing denim styles. Hey, we’re all different with different body shapes and differing intrepretations of what’s stylish - so let’s be charitable and give Diesel a big pat on the back for offering us such an impressive selection of jeans!!
On the other hand let’s be less charitable and categorically cry this smacks of desperation on the part of Diesel Jeans. Why oh why would any brand have 44 different styles available at one time? How many variations can one brand offer in denim jeans? Come on Diesel give us a break and offer us a dozen well designed and well marketed denim jeans. Study your customer and work to accommodate their needs rather than throwing out a mega-net hoping to catch as many indecisive buyers as you can. The old adage: Quality is better than Quantity comes to mind.
Come on Diesel we know you can do it if you try. Study your customer, ask questions and identify their needs and then go back to the drawing-board and create us 12 decent pairs of Diesel Jeans. Oh yeah, and cut the price by about 25%!!!

If you are looking for jeans for a curvy body I have some great ones for you! Venus.com has my favorite jeans!! I am 5'6" and have an athletic curvy body and these jeans hug my body wonderfully. The 5 pocket low and midrise jeans have just a little bit of spandex so the stretch is perfect. These jeans also won't put a hole in your pocket because they are very inexpensive. What a great find they were!
